I've decided that my baby fever might well be biologically triggered. Seems that all of a sudden my fb friends list is experiencing a baby boom AGAIN! Something like 6 pregnancies being announced in the last month or so! o.O Something is in the air!

Well, baby fever IS contagious. And when it hit me, I was like a wild animal. MUST HAVE ALL THE BABIES!

Clive (usually) falls asleep on long trips. But aside from that, I'd go with the suggestion of some new toys to break out in fussy periods. We also keep a few kid's movies on the tablet

The trips to the children's hospital for Nico's appointments are usually around 3 1/2 hours one way. So we have become experts at planning during nap times. Is there a way you can break it up. So half the trip during the morning nap period and half during the afternoon with a meal and some fun outside of the car stuff to do in between. The one time we had to drive in and drive back in the same day this is how we did it. No fussing and no crankiness.

^You had baby rabies, obviously. I'm so far being successful at treating the fever with ALL TEH RESEARCH!

I went ahead and told DH about the baby fever and he didn't look horrified, which mildly surprised me. Instead he told me to start getting ideas of costs for various things and think about how I want to handle working after munchkin in more detail (we've already discussed the basics) so we can sit down in a few weeks and come up with a plan. <3

(and no, the plan doesn't include moving the schedule up a year, lest anyone get any ideas)

Haha men are all about the planning and budgeting.

Once I decided it was time, I couldn't hear any logic about timing or money or planning. I dove in with both ovaries and didn't look back. The rest figures itself out.

Very true! Can be so annoying at times, but it does come in handy, too.

Secretly I kind of hope none of our subsequent children are planned, either. Although there's a decent chance the rest will be adopted or foster children, so maybe not.

The thought of having more kids scares me. Between us we have 4.

You guys are crazy. Zach and I both have a half dozen spreadsheets calculating investments and college savings for munchkin. There's no way I would feel secure about this at all without proving to myself I can afford this long term.
