MM, I definitely think it helps. Less drooling for sure since she's been wearing it.

This week has been especially tough here too because she's teething AND she's in this crazy developmental leap (I never bought into the wonder week stuff before this week) so she's sleeping like crap, not eating well and wants to be held all the time.

That's crazy that Lillian is already teething! Everleigh is drooling and wants to chew on everything but to look at or feel her gums, you'd never know.

Is she 12 weeks? I didn't buy into the wonder week thing until this week, either, but I just looked at a behavioral chart on wonder weeks and it's describing ours to the T.

I have an amber teething anklet on Cooper. I was always too scared to put it around their neck and never used one with Devin b/c I didn't realize there were anklets. He has been cutting his 2 yr molars for weeks now and I feel like it has helped a lot. It doesn't help that he keeps getting ear infections about every month, but when those are under control, he is mostly happy, other than his normal 2 yr old tantrums. I wish I had gotten it earlier to be honest!

Also, I remember with Cooper at his 2 month appointment his Dr telling me that somewhere in the 3rd month, they usually start to get easier and less fussy. He was particularly fussy from about 6-8 weeks...it may have been 4-8 weeks. But it did get easier. I had oversupply and an overactive letdown and he was extremely gassy as well which didn't help either. Hang in there....it won't be long, and you will have a hard time remembering how hard it can be. Soak up every second you can because these days will get away from you so fast and you will miss that sweet little baby you once had.

Yes she is, and she too is following the description for this leap! She's clingy, she's not eating well, she's not sleeping well, she has new vocalizations and she's trying to reach out and grab things.

They're basically a mental growth spurt, when a baby does some serious mental/emotional development quickly, causing a change in behavior and making them "out of sorts".

We have a wedding to go to today and it will be my first time leaving Everleigh for more than a couple hours. I'm sure she will be fine but I'm dreading it a little. We will be gone for 10-11 hours! Ugh.

That is the third wedding I know of today! Crazy. Unless the one youre going to is in Owen Sound, then maybe it's just two. LOL
