LOL. Falon was much much prettier after her bath. Babies come out super gross. I really hope you get to hold her today!

Feel free to ignore me but if you're pumping, ask for a hospital grade pump and make sure you have the right size flanges! And this stuff: Earth Mama is really super awesome to keep the stupid flanges from sticking to you.

I'm basically all ready for baby to come (still have a few little things, need to install the car seat and want to get it checked at the firehouse, need to wash receiving blankets, test the baby monitor, pack the hospital bag), and it's making me super-bored. I've been out of work for like 3 weeks, except doing part-time office work from home for like 10 hours a week.

I know I'm supposed to be enjoying the pre-baby time and resting and relaxing and stuff, but I'm not very good at that. Plus it's been horrendous weather (lucky if it hits 50, raining) for the past week +.

Didn't realize it had been so long since an update:

Everleigh was transferred yesterday to a level two hospital where she's continued to blow everyone away with how fast she's recovering. As of now, she is tube and line free and is off all her monitoring equipment. My milk is coming in and we are nursing well every three hours. Hoping we are headed home today!

I saw a new midwife yesterday, and I didn't really care for her - I hope she's not the one to deliver my baby.

She was trying to get me to get ANOTHER sonogram. First she was like "I can't feel the baby's head...I think it's because it's really low, but I want to check position". I said I already had a sono to check position.

Then she was measuring me...I don't think she could even feel the top of my uterus under my ribs, she was feeling around for like a million years. Then she asked how tall I was and said I was measuring small. She wanted to do a growth scan. I was like "I just HAD a sono and they checked growth." She was like "oh, okay, good"

The rest of the appointment proceeds, and at the end, she's like "I want you to get another growth scan..." I was like "I don't want one. I don't need one. I just had one." She said when I go back next week if I'm still measuring small I need another sonogram. I'm pretty confident I won't be...I know my baby is going to be a little on the small side, but he/she's been measuring on-track the whole time, and I don't need another stupid sonogram to tell me this.

They did that to me and I did NOT have small babies. Stick to your guns. I stopped growing outwardky both times at 32 weeks and had fat babies. If you just had one and dont want another be firm about it.

Briggs counting.
