I freaked out when I got close as well. Just keep in mind that more first time moms go over their due date than those that don't. My babe came one day shy of 41 weeks. It's good to be prepared for anything though

I went today and bought fabric to "make" a Moby Wrap. (I use the term "make" lightly. It's not going to require any sewing unless I want to hem it up or something. It's just fabric to use as a moby wrap.)

I just tried it out sans baby and it seemed like it worked well. I still need to trim the width of the fabric, so it was a little bulky, but otherwise it seemed a) easy to figure out and b) comfortable.

Hemorrhoids, Braxton Hicks contractions, severe sciatic nerve pain and constant fatigue when I am trying to work 60-70 hrs a week... C'mon Ryland, give Momma a break. ):

The past week my cats have been like Velcro. I haven't noticed any behavior changes in my dogs since becoming pregnant but this week, even my antisocial cat who hasn't cuddled with me ever really, is snuggled up.



And my young guy insists on licking my hair and resting his head on my shoulder:

Every single night, two things happen in my life.

#1:

Mom - I want you to look at something I saw online.
Me - ok
Mom - *pulls up a crib bumper* Do you want me to buy this for you?
Me - no.
Mom - you don't think it's cute?
Me - I'M NOT USING A CRIB BUMPER.
Mom - the baby is going to hit it's head.
Me - ...no it's not.
Mom - babies like soft things in their cribs.
Me - They also like unrestricted airways.

Mom - Do you want me to order this diaper bag for you?
Me - no.
Mom - you don't like it?
Me - I haven't liked it any other night this week, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LIKE IT NOW?!?!

Flooring is down in baby's room, trim is painted and ready to be put up as are closet doors. Then chandelier and furniture needs to be put in and I can officially start nursery nesting!

Diaper bags are overrated anyway. I never had an extra arm to lug one around while hanging onto a squirmy baby, carseat, dog leash, etc. A regular backpack worked a million times better.

I'm at the "clearing stuff out to make room for baby stuff" stage. Baby's going to be in my room for a while, and I need to get everything out to redo the flooring, anyway...but OMG I have a lot of stuff.

If you tandem wear it actually makes life easier.
