I'm liking the idea of fitted... But where do I even go to buy them in bulk? I know I will need more than one or two, of course. And need some in the vicinity of 40+.

I've definitely seen them on etsy but my DH vetoed the idea of cloth diapers so I don't know if they're a good deal.

I've also seen gently used ones on kijiji or mom-to-mom groups.

I'll try and figure out what brand my fitted pocket diapers were. They were awesome because they dried faster when washed and could handle more waste by volume so I put those on him over night. The fabulous thing about that brand was the snaps let it adjust from newborn size up to pretty huge.

You might get some prefolds to have on hand as a backup. They make excellent burp cloths too.

You can probably find better deals than that. Another reason I like them is because if you hold it upside down over the washer and give it a shake, the liner slides right out of the pocket and you don't have to touch it.

I still haven't ordered my cloth diapers...there are SO SO SO many to choose from and it's hard to know what to get.

I think I'm planning on doing cloth with disposable or flushable liners. My family thinks I'm insane for wanting to cloth diaper, and I can't imagine the baby's dad getting on board with it, so I'm mostly planning on cloth at home and disposable not at home...it will probably be about half and half.

I also know a few moms who used the bumgenius all-in-ones and liked them a lot. But I'm not too sure what else they tried or exactly why they liked those, or how the cost compares to others.

Not sure, but I think it should turn out to about $300 for everything to cloth diaper.

So if you're buying 24 diapers...that sounds about right.

For the fancy ones I think so. I got most of mine at $10-15 used. But I dont have enough to CD exclusively in the newborn stage. I'm going to do 50/50 for a bit until we can build up more of a stash. I have a few all in ones and the rest are covers with pockets that you stuff.
