They are small.
Lol my sister has one and she knows it is only a short-term car because you really can't put anything in it. Wee bit cramped. Other than that I have no clue, yeah super helpful I know.

When I looked into them the older models tended to crap out in cold cold winters as they're not a car made for our winters. Also repairs can be hell as parts are hard to get and some insurance companies charge more to insure them because of the hard to get parts.

They're kind of cute. But I wouldn't drive anything close to that small. It's just so dangerous. That's all I know.

I have know several people who have owned them. Two have been really happy with them, one was a total lemon, but I think it really was a lemon as it had problems from the day he bought it.
I looked into them at one point, and after driving both I would only own an S model. However, I do have a thing for going fast (the S model is like driving a fast go-cart).

All I know is that my brother, who is big into cars, said the S is super fun to drive.

A girl at our agility class has one, and it cracks everyone up because she has the largest dogs in the class.
Personally, I love small cars and rather liked driving my cousin's this summer, though I'm not sure how it would work with the pupsters.

My mom had one before she got the prius. It was a really fun little car
bearing in mind..this is in Miami lol it's flat and always hot. But a great little car, never had any problems and was SUPER fun to drive. Plus, great for being in a city where there aren't huge parking spaces! |

I couldn't own one with the amount of dogs I have. Personally I think they look dangerous and uncomfortable, but maybe that's just me. Not a fan of them.

While small cars can be more dangerous in multi car crashes, they really aren't any worse than big cars in single car crashes. In particular a Mini has very low rollover risk. Some of the worst rated cars in single car crashes are actually big SUVs. You have plenty of crumple zone, but they don't work as well as some smaller cars.
Go kart with mpg. Get one if you can afford it and fit what you need in it. |
