I'm in Canada and all my pregnant friends/family members have seem to have had one every few weeks lol

I had a bunch. The first with Samuel were at 9 weeks because I almost miscarried and they were trying to check the placenta (it was literally hanging by a thread). Obviously he's okay, but they were doing them pretty often to keep an eye on his development, the reattachment, etc. Both of my kids had them weeklyish - biweekly in the last trimester because I had lots of early labor stuff and they were checking fluid levels and things.

medicaid/medical will cover one or two only unless their is risk involved. then its at the doctors discretion
