I did make it! Though I will admit, I had a TON of help from my mom. This was my first real attempt at reading a sewing pattern. While I've been sewing for years and feel pretty comfortable at the machine, I never learned any real sewing lingo.

My mom pretty much made Morgan's costume for me, 1) because I was observing how it all worked, and 2) because she had to upsize it from the pattern quite a bit, which takes a certain skill that I don't have yet. The largest dog size pattern was 17"... Morgan is decidedly larger than that.

As for Justin's, that took me about two weeks to do. Little bits here and there, one day at a time, and a several "do overs".
