Can my dad have some vibes?
My dad is scheduled for a knee replacement on Halloween. He goes in tomorrow morning to start testing and things to be sure he's fit for surgery.
He's had surgery before, but never anything that would be keeping him under anesthetic for so long, and nothing so extreme. He really needs the surgery though, because he's just been in so much pain for the last 3 years. Vibes that all the tests come back well and surgery is a go?

You got 'em! Argh knee surgeries are rough, ill be thinking of him & praying for a nice uneventful surgery & as quick a recovery as possible

Lots and lots of vibes for the surgery & for the recovery. My MIL got her knee replaced shortly after my husband and I got married. It took her about a year before she could say it was worth it.

Hoping all goes well for your dad. My dad had both knee replacements at the same time and was so happy to be able to go golfing again. My neighbor had one done and realized it was worth it to do through to not be in pain any longer & be able to walk better. She had the next knee done the following year and is doing great.

My mum just got one done in June, 3 months and she was back to her normal routine but with no pain at all.
