Why do you love dogs?

I sometimes ask myself this question.....WHY am I so crazy about dogs?!
I think because they are loyal -your dog loves you more than anythingin his/her life-. I even love them because they smart and can be trained easily.
Melon(my poodle) is my first dog. I had her when I was 10 years old, and she taught me lots of things about dogs, and from that moment, I started to love dogs.

I love dogs because I know no matter what I do or say my dogs are always going to love me. I have never been a fan of people not saying I don't like people or anything but I have always been one to prefer an animals company to a persons anyday. A dog will not lie to you it will not trick you or hurt your feelings. A dog will not call you names or talk behind your back a dog will just simply love you.

With a dog I always know i have a shoulder of sorts to cry on a and ear always open to vent to. A cuddle buddy, a protecter, a best friend. And thats why i love dogs so much.

I love them because they are always happy to see you whether you have been gone 5 hours or 5 minutes. They are always ready to play with you. I love the cuddles and the kisses.

Hmmm... because they won't turn their back on you, because they are happy with what little they have as long as they have you, because they don't worry about the little things, because they love with no strings attached.

Here we go, I love dogs because

1. They love you no matter what

3. They can always read you, both physicly and emotionally
4. They know you better than anyone else
5. They bring out the best in people
6. They help out people in need, whether it be companion or service
7. They are theroputic
8. The teach you as much as you teach them
9. They dont question, what where how or when, just who
10. They are always there when you need them
11. They are excellent judges of character
12. They relive tension and stress
13. They connect on a deep level without words
14. They are easygoing
15. There is a reason we call them mans best friend

I think Ive always had a soft spot for dogs, but more specifically Labradors.

I love them because they will first be your companion, then your working partner. After watching the Great Outdoor Games back in 2000 and watching Chris Akins Labrador Boomer, I have since enjoyed watching these dogs work. If they are trained right, they have alot of potential to do amazing things, if you let them do what they were bred and trained to do. This past summer, I had gotten the opportunity to meet Mr. Akin and his dog Boomer, I can only wish that my dog Narcan is even half as good as Boomer.

Labs are willing to do anything to please their master, they are good with children and can switch gears easily, moving from working their butt off in the field to relaxing at home with the family.

I know Ive only scratched the surface, but I hope my reasons are right for having Narcan.
