I just don't get it. A woman on another board has her twins' birthday tomorrow, and she says she has no money to buy them anything. And she's 22 weeks pregnant.
Am I the only one thinking it's a bit irresponsible to keep having kids when you can't afford them? Ok, sure, having money for a birthday present isn't the same as being able to buy them food, but still. I can't see myself having another kid if I already can't buy mine anything for birthdays/Christmas. If they can't buy their current kids anything, how are they going to pay for the hospital stay and stuff for a baby? I don't know. Some stuff just baffles me. |

Oh don't worry, the more sex trophies she squirts out, the more money she'll eventually be able to collect from welfare.

The more kids she has the more 'assistance' she gets

It's irresponsible to plan/try to have more when you can't provide for the ones you have.
However, sometimes people end up getting pregnant even while taking precautions. In those cases, abortions aren't always an option depending on the woman's personal beliefs or health (abortions themselves carry risks). Or the stage at which she discovers she's pregnant, since it's entirely possible to not find out until after the cutoff date has passed. Both of my kids were unplanned, I was correctly using two forms of BC both times. It happens. |

But, but, but.... it's what the people want in this country. Keep voting the same socialists into power and people like her will be taken care of by people who earn.....until the whole economic system collapses, which it's on the brink of doing anyhow.

Interesting how everyone immediately assumed she was on welfare or some other assistance just because she's "broke". Having kids is expensive. Buying the basics for your family is enough to bankrupt the average American income. It doesn't mean they are milking the system or even on public assistance.
