Default Tellington Touch

I am curious...any of you here have experience with TT?

Do any of you use it or have used it?

What do you think of it?

Smkie has taken the class and used it with wonderful results.

I have very limited experience with it but would jump at the chance to know more. I did go to an energy healing workshop put on by Nicole Wilde and that was phenomenal. Ivy's breeder does TTouch and has very positive experiences with it.

Default TTouch

I have used it on Sunny before. I did not attend any "official" training, however at my agility intructors advice I bought the book "Getting in TTouch with your dog". Sunny is very shy, and nervous in unknown situations, so my instructor recommended it for making her feel more comfortable. She went to a course on TTouch and she swears by what they can do for a dog's comfort level and anxiety.

From what I have learned from the book, it seems to work wonders for Sunny. She does calm down and it relaxes her almost instantly.

However, to be 100% honest, I can't say if it's the specfic TTouches that are the magic. Some of it may just be the fact that I'm paying attention only to Sunny and have my hands on her, making her feel comfortable.

IMO TT falls into a realm of pseudoscience along with magnet therapy and apple cider vinegar cure alls. IMO you'd be better off attending a pet massage class.

I have taken several seminars on Ttouch, and one on the holistic approach of pressure points to calm the anxious dog, and at that one, the vet showed me several that helped my old dog with her arthritis pain. I do this every evening with Neccy and several times a week with both Victor and Pepper. Works for us.
