Bulb time (flowers) - watcha planting?
I just did some blue poppies. Don't have much money to spend on bulbs now - plus I'm not that great of a gardener. I'm still trying to get it right, learning about soil, the right amount of shade, sun, appropriate foods...
But I'd love to grow a lovely, Oriental/English/Medieval style garden some day - the ground here is (to put it kindly) dry and very barren lol. So when I have my own land/garden. But I love Peonies, Poppies, Amaryllis, Irises, unusual varieties of Daffodils, Lillies and Gladiolas. I dream of a Orchid garden - and hibiscus and gardenias - but my thumbs are not quite green enough to make them flourish xd. What's everyone else doing in your gardens?

Right now I'm killing black widows and admiring the tarantula that's moved in.
When the heat finally really breaks we're going to do yellow day lilies in the front box.

It's a little too early here now. We're just winterizing the plants we hope to have back next year.
