My dog stinks!!!! Help!!!

Ok so my other dog has sensitive skin and lately she really stinks.

I gave her a bath last week and she already smells really bad. She is an inside dog and I know she didn't get into anything.

I was wondering if there is some kind of vit I can give her for that

It sounds like the "smelly dog syndrome" .... the main culperit to this is the type of food comsumption.... the "cheap" food causes this frequently. I recommend you do some research on this forum for a "better quality" food.

xxxpoo, I"m surprised, having stated that you are a "vet" that you don't recommend a checkup for this dog.

There are many things that can cause an unusual odor on a dog well beyond what food it eats.

Liver and kidney issues immediately come to mind, right behind dental or serious ear issues.

TO THE OP: Please get a complete check up on your dog, including a blood workup, and ear and mouth exams.

And what you are feeding the dog COULD be part of the issue.

He/She already stated in a previous post that he/she feeds Kibble and Bits .... I gave the person advice on what to do before a visit to the Vet... which would be the same thing the vet would suggest anyhow IMO.

I agree with the food change and vet check. And infection (yeast?) can be pretty stinky.

It's not her ears and not her teeth I keep them clean and the smell is not coming from those areas

She has always had a smell and it was from sensitive skin the vet told me that a while ago
It just seems to be getting stronger lately
I thought their may be a vit for dogs skin problems

Yeast infection could be it too!!! I didn't think about that.

She was just in heat a few weeks ago
