Arson after 2 weeks at home

I almost bought the klippo strawberry ones... Jammies But instead I bought more manly jammies..

I was browsing kijiji.. I didn't know there was a free pets section. I happened to find a hairless CC posted the day before. From a breeder, 13 months old, never sold.. I was super interested in mini poodles, another cocker or a crestie a year ago, and was unhappy with crestie breeders I found. Lady on another forum pm'd me offering me a pup.. I wanted a sports dog.. had a litter from completely unproven parents (yet did stuff with the rest of her CCs).. and was charging a premium because they were CCs.. No thanks..

Kerri told me I should email, but I knew the odds were low I'd get a reply. I told her I did sports with my dogs.. Few days passed, nothing I was sad but figured that would happen.. Then I got a reply.. I called, we met.. 3.5 hour drive became 5 with awful traffic..

Met him. Wasn't sure what to think. To me he looked like a terrier.. the moderate back/ bum hair was a turn off.. he was porky at 20 pounds.. and is over standard tall. I felt he needed a chance though, so we brought him home..

Been 2 weeks he's coming around. Down 2 pounds, looks far fitter, has more stamina. He's a clown.. I'm enjoying him. Keep buying him stuff

Cider actually tolerates him better than Smudge.. She doesn't make a disatisfied noise when he gets near. She's fine with Smudge.. she's just never stopped being vocal about him.

So he's got a neuter appointment in 7 days.. as fun as LHW cresties or JRT cresties would be... (the hairless gene is dominant..). He's on antibiotics.. he had a penis infection (too much time belly banded before he came) and shaving his neck gave him pyoderma, sigh.

So he's enjoying his upgrade I think..

Ok. I must admit. That is kinda cute.

I also laughed at his silly couch picture. I suppose it's cute when he's that size, but when my overactive 35-60 lb pit bulls did that, which they did quite a bit, it was hilarious.....and usually resulted in person sitting on the couch getting whipped by a tail. lol

OMG whipped by tails.. Tail.. he has one... I've never had a dog with a tail. I keep almost catching it in the car door..

I totally should have bought the pink strawberry jammies for him..

I woke up to Moo and Arson playing in bed on me... Seems Moo is adjusting. Cider's still a beeotch though. As I've been living at Kerri's I kind of want to take Cider home home as my mother loves her the most.. Give her a break and me a break...

Tails are so odd lol!

I tried to sign Arson up for flyball tonight. Darn club 'breaks' apparently Sept to March.. Uhhh I wanted a winterish sport to try out and something soonish... Sure I can teach him rally on my own (Did it without classes for Moo) and Kerri's the obedience queen.. but I thought trying something totally new might be fun...
