I'm hoping, Renee.
I'm going to leave him alone for about 48 hours to let his body heal and adjust to its new state, and then I'll start doing some therapy exercises with him. Hubby is pretty upset seeing him like this. He's telling me that if he doesn't get any better in a few weeks, he'd rather put him down than see him live like that the rest of his life. Honestly, I'm on the fence, because it's so hard to know what they're really like and really want to do if it weren't for the physical limitations. But I'm not even considering euthanasia at this point. Should he have another stroke, which could happen, or just go downhill physically or mentally, then I'll consider it in about 3-4 weeks. But in the meantime, it's going to be lots of luvin' and therapy.
