No, not at all. I'm a dog person, not a breed person.

I'm really not sure. I can say though that right now I'm perfectly content surrounding myself with koolies for the rest of my life. However, I most likely will have a rescue herding mix somewhere in there too. I think I have figured out that I do best with herding dogs though, I love danes and I love their souls but we just do not mesh well training-wise.

No...but I am a GSD person with Corgi and a Kelpie. The Corgi might some day turn into a Border Terrier and the Kelpie might some day instead be a Koolie but the GSD will ALWAYS be in my pack.

I like my shepherds, but i'm more of a "type" of dog person than a breed person

I really really love the Bullies. I would be perfectly content with having a two Boxer, one American Bulldog, one English Bulldog family.
I thought that I loved the herding breeds. And part of me does. I love their willingness to learn and their intelligence. I love the idea of having a dog that can work cattle with me, and trail ride with me, and be velcro. However, I didn't realize how much of a "chill dog" family we were until we got Ryder. He has no off switch. I don't like that. I think if I go with a herding dog again, it will either be pure ACD that I get from a reputable breeder or it will be a Koolie. And if it is a Koolie, I'm going to be **** sure that I spend some time with them first. I know for sure that we want to have a Vizsla at some point. Whether or not we will get another after that, I don't know to be sure yet. We've talked about a Springer instead, as that was what I was looking at before I got impulsed into a Boxer. I think I'm a Bully person at heart, but there are aspects of the breed that don't fit all of my wants. So our pack will probably always be diverse with one sporting, one herding, a Boxer, and an American Bull. I will ALWAYS have a Boxer. PS, sorry that was so long.

So far all the dogs that really 'fit' me have been JRTs. So I think I am a breed person. But if I could find it in another breed (mia sounds sooo much like some of the JRTs I know.. maybe will have to look at paps). Most other terrier breeds don't do it for me. They just aren't quiet there.
So I would always like to have JRT with a side of something else. A side of whippet is nice

No, but I can see myself owning more than one of a certain breed at a time. Like a couple whippets and a chihuahua or a couple chihuahuas and a whippet. Lol! But I have a lot of time yet to find "my breed" if it exists.

No, I like a lot of different breeds and have owned various breeds. There are some breeds I wouldn't have. And some that I haven't tried that I'd be interested in having. I do feel strongly about Chihuahuas. These two have been a real joy. Although, if I get another dog, I might wind up with another Chi and then again, I might try a Poodle.

I think that Finnish Spitz are definitely my breed. We just click. However, in having T here, it has been nice to get a lot more exposure to a different breed. While I can't say for certain, "Yes, I will always have Finkies and a GSD," T has turned me on to GSDs more so than I thought he would.
But in reality, I think I will be more than content with a gang of Finkies and a single of another, to be decided, breed(s).

This. I like a variety. After years of volunteering at the shelter, I have discovered that I love love LOVE highly active, drivey dogs.
But, I've also come to realize that I just REALLY LOVE DOGS. As long as I have an active dog to do dog things with, then I wouldn't mind also sharing my life with a couch potato
