The windows are open.
I mean it. All the windows in the house are open!
 That is a momentous occasion in Texas! It's actually not a$$-sizzling hot outside! I don't think we've been able to open the windows like this since early March. There's a beautiful breeze blowing, and the temps are in the 70s. Everyone's enjoying the cool, but we're rather leery. Normally, we don't start getting glimpses of cooler weather until at least early October. Now we're all wondering if it's going to be another one of those freeeezing cold winters. Oh well. If we get a cold winter, it's only fair. Last winter was so unseasonably mild that it was ridiculous. Anybody else starting to see the beginning of fall?

It's not 1,000 degrees today.
But I did burn my feet on the driveway just now, so it's not cool out, lol.

I swam in the sea today! Our summer has been crap so that was great!

We had them open yesterday too and last night.
I woke up to 52 degrees this morning; it was cold! We're going up to 75. I'm glad to see the weather on tv that it will be 60 at night and high 80's during the day. I love sleeping with the cooler nights.

Yeah, in the early morning I can tell a bit of a chill to the air. Of course it's gone by 9:00, but still, I'm excited!!

Yes, the windows are open and there is a lovely, cool, northern wind! The temp is about 65/70. I sat outside on the deck, drank coffee, and watched the pups play. Great morning.

Lol!
I woke up this morning, got the dog out his kennel, and opened the back door to let him out.....and then I became disoriented. Was I dreaming? Where was I? Why did it feel that way outside? I looked around, determined I was awake, and realized that yes, it really was a sunshiny 71 degrees with a breeze....in southeast Louisiana! Glory hallelujah!!!!!
