My dad's side of the family is coming down tomorrow to celebrate my Grandpa's 88th birthday. I'm really looking forward to just being around family, eating good food, and relaxing most of the day. I'm also so thankful that my Grandpa is almost 90 and doing as well as he is. He's slowed down a lot after a recent illness that sent him to the hospital, and I'm just thankful I have the time with him that I do.

A new sushi place opened up right by my work. Sushi is my favorite, but we never get it because it's kind of expensive. Anyways... a few days ago one of my coworkers wanted lunch and she wanted sushi. She offered to buy half my lunch so I could afford to have sushi for lunch. It was amazingly good and the first time I had had sushi in over a year.

Then yesterday my boss comes up to me with a smile on her face and said, "Do you like sushi?" I said, "yes it's my favorite." My boss said, "I'm buying everyone sushi for lunch so tell me what you want." That's sushi TWICE in ONE week!!!!! OMG I was in such a euphoric state yesterday when I was eating my sushi.

Omg Amber I'm sooo jealous! We hardly get sushi either because the good stuff is so expensive. I am getting sushi this coming weekend for my birthday and I'm soooo excited!

3 days until my birthday and the start of new things!! My boyfriend and I will have 8 whole days of vacation together. The first part of the week will be spent with me moving in to his house (eeee!!!!) and him recovering from minor ankle surgery. Then the second half we'll spend in Arizona visiting friends and my grandma! Unbelievably excited.

I've come down with a cold that BETTER clear up by next Tuesday/Wednesday.

I got my body fat percentage done this morning. 22.3%. I was predicting around 25%. I am super super thrilled.
Also I only weighed 134. Last week I went to the doctor for my depo injection and was 138 which I was like "oh wow, okay, that's great!" because I thought with all my muscle I'd be around 145-ish. I'm ten pounds lighter than what I thought I was going to be last week.
134 is now "the lightest I've ever been as an adult." That means today I am the lightest I've ever been my entire adult life.

Pretty sure I could take on the whole world right now.

I just worked 11 hours. And 7 hours of that was completely non stop couldn't-see-the-end-of-the-queue busy. Plus 3 hours travel time and I am exhausted. My legs hurt so much. This was the busiest it's ever been with me working but when I got paid my boss had paid me half as much again as I should have been paid

I didn't kill DH with my grumpiness this morning.

It's the weekend, so no running around doing crap.

I landed a contract position as a canine trainer at K9SOS. I'm primarily working with/training tracking dogs but I'm also on a new project training dogs to scratch for their indication. I've been at work for 3.5 days (I left the state for a week and picked up a Bloodhound and a GSD for the tracking program - through contacts of my very own ) and yesterday they asked me to up my hours from part-time to full-time and today they asked if I would like to become a certified detection dog handler
