Had to help euthanize a coworkers dog today.

Really shook me up. I didn't know the dog, but it hurt me to see my coworker in that much emotional pain. He's had a shoddy month, and loosing his best friend that he's had by his side for a decade and a half was just icing on the cake. It sucks.

I hate getting old ... I don't burn calories like I used to, plus I am not riding horses here ... which of course if you ride horses you will know that nothing burns calories like that
The numbers on the scale don't matter. Are you eating OFTEN enough? Breakfast-lunch-dinner? I cut out anything carby after lunch per the advice of my trainer/nutritionalist and I can feel a difference. I'm old too.

Tonight I found out it's entirely possible to get a Jeep Wrangler sideways into oncoming traffic lanes all while keeping it shiny side up. The good news is that I avoided the accident and I luck was certainly on my side today.

Screw you moving truck!

Holy ****. I'm so glad you (and the Wrangler!) are okay. <3

Dear pet owners, please stop bringing your dogs in on frickin Flexis. We have several clients that bring their large, pulling dogs in on flexis, which makes it difficult, especially with my tiny hands, to lead them both back to the daycare room and open doors. If you are going to have the leash locked anyways, just use a normal leash. Arg.

The moment where you open up your Facebook profile page and see your smiling, beautiful, grey-faced, perfect dog's picture and you realize that it's only been five months since you lost her but it feels like forever and your heart hurts so much that you feel like it will crack and you feel like you're going to throw up with the grief of it all.
