Izzie's anal gland has flared up again. I checked it last week and it was fine, a vet checked it 2 months ago and it was perfect and normal. Today it's swollen, not huge but it's noticeable. I have no money, my vet office doesn't do payment plans or anything (even for a long term client who refers everyone she knows to them... i get why they don't but I hate that idiots ruin it for the good ones).

They just suggested human face cleanser and rubbing it with a warm compress. I hope it doesn't rupture again.

Reeeally.
Jerk.

This was after he watched me lift 200lbs into my car by myself.
Wow, what a jerk! Is this someone random, or someone that you at least knew? Either way...horrible.

Terriers!! We just had a wire fox stick his head in the gate, twist, and get stuck. He was screaming bloody murder and I had to call for help while I tried my best to calm him because i couldn't figure out how it get him out. We figured out that I had to force him on his side, turning him, and pull to get him out. He finally freed, wagged his tail, and then attempted to stick his head BACK for a stupid cookie.

TERRIERS!!!! /feeling stressed.

I sincerely hope you pointed below his stomach and said "Ironically, I'm not surprised to see there's no poof there."

There's a video out there making the rounds tonight of a rottweiler being shot by police. While I'm not sure about how the situation was handled with arresting the owner right off the bat, I think shooting the dog leans towards 'warranted'. The officer had his gun drawn, but did not shoot until the dog was in mid-lunge. I'm a little amazed that people are so upset, for the dog! I say shame on that dog's owner for not securing him in the car, not rolling up his windows.

Insanity.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Terrier definitely aren't stupid, but they may be slightly insane
