I don't even know if drama is the right word for it... Just stupidity. It's okay to say "I can't talk right now, I'm sleeping with someone" but generally not okay after you've said "What's going on with your visit with your family? Why do you have to come now? Why can't you come out when I can see you!?"

I read them all. Well, most of them. The ones that can spell. And I reply to plenty of them - I just never seem to get any replies.

My vent is that icing sucks to work with in hot temperatures. Then licking it off my fingers made me want more. So instead of eating a tub of icing, I'm taking pug for a walk. Eff you, cookies.
<3

That sucks. Go for a walk instead. I want to go on a walk.

Crap, I'm sorry Nolu. That sounds horrible. I hope your hand heals quickly. Sorry your ex us being difficult.

My vent: I need a new job. I can't get a new job for at least 12 weeks now, because I have so many limitations due to wrist injury. Ugh.

You seriously do need a new job. =< Or to at the very least just quit your old job... too much not-good going on there.

My child came home from daycare with no pants He apparently spilled something on them and they took them off. However, they then lost them It was a different shift of staff who took them off, and the later staff apparently did not think it odd tht a child was in his underthings. And they let him play outside that way

What? That's crazy. Did you send a change of clothes with him? Even if he didn't have an extra set of clothes most preschools/daycares have a small supply of clothes JUST IN CASE. I would be furious.

Just say no, I know it sounds blunt esp with family, but sometimes people need a blunt answer to get the point across or they will just keep ignoring you.

I really think the old injury to my shoulder where the horse kicked me is coming back to bite me, I never went to the hospital initially (no money & despite the impact being hard enough to knock my glasses off my face & into the far corner of the stall) wasn't as bad as you might think, I actually went to work the next day even though I had to clean stalls with one arm :-P.

Now if I use it too much (like all this last week was spend doing ranch yard/property work) or if horses jerk me around too much it really hurts afterward, like pretty intense deep joint pain, but also tingly/ numb at the same time.

I wish I had the monies to have it x rayed & looked at

My dad has had three surgeries in less than a week and is still on the ventilator. He was supposed to be home in just a few days, and now they're thinking it will be weeks.

My MRI results from last week came back weird, and they scheduled me with a neurosurgeon and had me do a bunch of blood tests RIGHT NOW NOW NOW and kept calling my mom even though I've given them my correct phone number, and it was scary. The neurosurgeon said I don't need surgery on his end; I have cysts in my spine, and the blood tests all look normal. I still need to see a spinal surgeon and see if there's something wrong with my hardware, but at least it doesn't look like I have cancer. It was still scary, though.

My mom bitched me out on the phone today because she's (understandably) upset, but I'm upset too and I really don't appreciate being yelled at for looking 'sullen' and 'pouty' because I'm scared, upset, and overly tired. She's purposefully misunderstanding things I'm saying, and whenever I talk to my sister about ANYTHING she has to rehash what I said a thousand times with my mom until they come up with some secret mean interpretation that isn't accurate.

It also turns out my boyfriend lied about being enrolled in classes this summer to me, and I'm trying to decide if I'm going to be able to forgive that. He came clean three days later, and I'm not mad about dropping the classes; I'm mad about the lying. He keeps asking why I'm mad in front of people like he can force me to forgive him by using social pressure, and that's making me madder.

I'm supposed to be at work this week and I haven't been because I've been watching Zoey and going to the hospital and running around, which I don't mind doing, but I also am afraid I'm getting behind and I feel guilty and anxious when I'm at work (because I don't get cell reception) and guilty and anxious when I'm not at work because I want to be there.

My roommate had the AC set to 70 degrees all day because I was gone. It was 105 out; so it was trying to cool the house by 35 degrees. We discussed it and settled on 78-80. I pay utilities, and I'm pretty irritated by that.

And if one more person asks me what's wrong, I might accidentally punch them in the face.

It was the one time he didn't have a different pair of pants, just an extra shirt. Usually he'd have at least a pair of swim shorts, but it was an 'everything is in the laundry' day due to a Pudding Incident. They do usually have some extra clothes or something, but maybe they were low.

Most annoying is that they could have called either of us..I could have taken pants at lunchtime. He doesn't know better at 2.5, but he doesn't need to be running around in his underclothes at "school". My husband picks him up after their naptime (it's disruptive to go in while all of the littles are napping and collect a kiddo, so we usually pick him up after) but if they'd called to say 'hey, he's running around in undies because we've misplaced his pants" he'd have picked him up right away. Hopefully other parents picking up their kids didn't wonder why our child was running amok with no pants on

He's going to drop in status for the month of July, as we're not sending him to daycare all week when he has a parent at home to watch him, so hopefully these shenanigans have stopped by the time he goes back full time. (he'll go for a few hours once a week if we need to run errands, etc that might be difficult with a sometimes crabby youngster, plus to keep him in a routine so there is not much turmoil in August when he goes back full time)
