1. I had fasting bloodwork done, had to go to 3 different labs before they could do it. It's for allergy testing, they took sooo much blood. So glad it's over.

2. Steve needs to get neutered ASAP. I took him out in the yard with Ivy (spayed) yesterday to attempt some photographs of them and he kept on photobombing her by trying to mount her...head. Rabbits.

3. That's all I got. Other than puppymama needs to go into heat *pout*.

We have a rule at work that any unvaccinated puppy with typical Parvo symptoms (lethargic, not eating well, vomiting, diarrhea, etc) is to stay in the car until a parvo test is done since we're in a really parvo heavy area. Today a receptionist had someone bring their 5 month old puppy in, walking all over the building, because "the owner said it was vomiting because it was probably pregnant'

Thank you for tracking Parvo all over the place...

OMG what?! Yikes.

But on a sidenote, that's a cool/smart policy on your part.

Had my paragaurd put in about an hour ago... Cramping so hard it's feeling like the beginning of contractions. We're taking grammy out to dinner tonight for early mothers day and all I really just want to die right now. I've been looking forward to taking her to Helga's for two weeks now. This is poop.

Meds meds meds!! When I had my Mirena put in the nurse told me "you can take as much Ibuprofen as you need today." Call your doc and make sure but you probably should be heavily medicated if you can do it! Those cramps are no joke, I'm sorry. =<

There's a ton of banging going on at my house, and not in the good way.

That's my weird way of complaining about how loud getting the siding redone is. CONSTANT LOUDNESS.

Ugh, finding a house is so hard. We thought we'd be living in our current house for about two more years and even possibly buying it (this was discussed and brought up by the land lady), which would have been perfect, so being kind of blindsided has just been awful. We were trying to stay in this area of the city since everything we do is over here, but it's impossibly hard to find anywhere right now. So many apartments and main levels and basement suites, but barely any full houses and barely any that allow dogs unless we can pay a crazy high rent per month. :-(

It's not like we're going to be homeless. Which is great, but our options aren't that great either. So far we have: moving into a main level with no storage for the same price we're paying now for an entire house, moving into my mom's boyfriend's house which would leave my brother and I in the basement which pretty much would suck an be awkward (living with the bf) and be super lonely plus I can't see living there with dogs very easily, or me moving into my Doberman breeder's house for a short time (which would be really stressful). I wish I could just afford to take my two dogs and move out on my own, but I can't right now.

I wish we could just find somewhere dog friendly in a good area so that my brother and I wouldn't have to commute two hours for school and work and also something affordable.

What I wish the most is that our land lady/'friend' wasn't just thinking about herself and her woes and that she stuck to the original plan. She doesn't even need this house. She's one lady, with no dogs currently, doesn't need the size of the house, the transit access or anything around there that we need. I get that she has the right to have her house back if she really wants it, but the way she went about it (that I won't go into) is just wrong and selfish.

we're going through something similar, my inlaws said they would sell us their house and now all of a sudden, they're not going to. They don't even live here, they're truckers and have zero reason to have such a big house, we'd even promised to keep a room for them here. House hunting... I hates it.
