Drove 17 hours. Finally got to hotel. Hotel sucks. Well, it is nice, but it is 1am and I've already had 3 issues. I'm going to kill someone.

This week is going to SUCK! One of my co-workers, and a dear friend had her gallbladder out last week, so she's off work, she's going to try to come in for the 13th, well see how it goes. Then two of the others left on their planned vacation. Leaving 3 of us to cover 3 shifts for 10 days. And I was supposed to go the the Great Big Sea concert in Regina! Don't know of we can go yet because we don't know if she can handle coming back to work yet. This is my second job, so I am working 13 hour days for the next week...boo.

I'm not one for correcting other peoples' dogs, but you might look into picking up a can of Interostop. It's a nifty little product that is,essentially a pheromone type deal with lavender scent, combined with air in a can. I would not expect the actual pheromone to do much, but dogs..even angry ones..seem to really hate the hiss of the air. It's pretty loud, so works even from a bit of a distance. We keep a can on hand for some of those incessantly barking dogs at work and even the really angry ones seem to rethink things, and that's also from across the room. It might bring some much needed peace if they aren't going to control their dog, yet won't harm the dog in the least.

Not only do I get it out in public, but also in puppy class! yes, my dog was the best one there, honestly that's not me being cocky, it's was the truth. Three other students plus the instructors assistant agrees. He knew all of the obedience stuff before we got to the class! That's NOT because of his breed, it's because of the work we've done with him! >_< If you looked at my little boston terrier mix you'd see the same thing from him in his class. He was the most well behaved and trained dog there. Again, multiple trainers that watched the class, plus other students commented on him. It's not his breed, it's his training! Period! Neither dog is "easy." Talon would be a destructive crazed maniac if we didn't work with him. Art is just a ball of nerves. They are well behaved and have great focus and very polite because we WORK WITH THEM! >_<

Ok, done.
Shoulda bought a basset :P

I'm not sure I want to do anything while they are just standing there watching like slack-jaws. I suppose it could be viewed as me trying to break up my OWN dogs though? I'm not very excited about this but if their dog is causing problems, their next door neighbour (the guy directly behind me) will call the cops or animal control on them... he calls the cops on just about anybody. =P

Today's vent - my friend apparently got gastroenteritis this weekend. My friend is also my co-worker's girlfriend. It's highly contagious. HE'S SITTING RIGHT THERE AHHHH. He thinks he has escaped catching it but he better not be bringing those germs around here! *flail flail*

Every time you 'flail' (or anyone does, I guess) I always picture it as Wacky Inflatable Tube Man flailing around. Random, but I felt that image needed to be shared.

My vent is just... ugh. I really hate depending on other people. I thought I had everything set up and that it would all work out but of course it doesn't. It's probably for the best but I wish I had a friend who could be honest with me. I feel like she's scared to tell me what she really thinks/feels/plans. And that hurts. Plus I'm gonna be WAY more pissed when I find out she lied to me. If you can't do something, say you can't do it. Don't along with it and then flake out.

And my house is a mess. And I don't want to clean it since I've been working so much. Hopefully by the time I get back it will be a little cleaner. I'm an awful girlfriend

I am tired. I don't want to do math, so I'm studying commercially available, OTC flea/tick treatments for a different class instead.

Threw up all night, feel fine now, have to go work on a school project anyway.

Dreamed about grading papers. Now have to actually grade them.

So tired.

Went to bed embarrassingly early last night, then woke up like like 5 hours and later and kept drifting off and waking up. Totally miserable night. Despite being in bed for like 11 hours I feel like crap.

Also, last night, a next door neighbor we've always been on good terms with basically accused us of letting our dogs jump the fence and poop in her immaculate yard. I don't know what's been pooping her yard but our dogs are never, and I do mean NEVER, outside unattended. Even in the shittiest of weather we drag our assess out in the porch and supervise while they potty.

Anyway, she was like, "Well just be careful." She didn't like it that I replied, "We already are. I'm sorry but it's impossible that it was our dogs. Good luck getting things straightened out though. I'll let you know if we see anything."
