Okay I totally just posted about it in the good news thread But I am a believer in it! I use the generic Walgreens stuff, but Airborne and Emergen-C would be the brand names. It's just a giant shot of vitamin c - 1000mg. Pour it in a small glass of water, drink up. Tastes pretty good. And it's fizzy. Which is awesome.

Last night I wanted a sandwich and milkshake through drive thru. The kid at the window was a bit snotty and he didn't put the lid on the shake all the way so when I grabbed it the whole cup fell in my lap. I had peppermint milkshake all over my pants, seat and my passenger seat. Thankfully I had a towel in my car that I used to wipe as much off as I could and I laid down one of my extra shirts to sit on. My leg was freezing for a while too.

I was NOT happy!

Thank you Amber! I got the emergen-c and took it a few minutes ago. How long does it take to work/what kind of results will I see? Also it says you can't take it up to twice daily, do you do that Southpaw? There aren't that many in there so I didn't want to waste them.

I take it once a day but I started taking it at the very first sign that I thought I was getting sick. If you're in like, full-blown illness mode lol I would take it twice. For me it prevented my cold from ever getting worse, and I feel like I kicked the cold faster than I normally would have, and faster than anyone in my family was able to!

Even if you don't think it helps this time I think it'd be worthwhile for you to keep on hand, since you work with kids and are probably exposed to bugs all the time! I've stopped taking it now since I'm better but my future plan is to just start taking it whenever I'm around sick people.

Eww, that's one thing I couldn't stand about apartment living. You have to deal with all of the funky smells.
