I'm having horrible cravings for cupcakes.

So I went to the store,& there were none, there were none yesterday, & the day before that.

I feel like this right now

Well, got wind of the first bad thing being said about me behind my back at work today.

*sigh*

I was told to help other sections when they need it. Last shift we were insanely busy, so after doing as much as I could on our section's closing list, where two other people were also working, I went to help the kennel technician, who was swamped.

Oh. But apparently I didn't "clean well enough" in my section before I went to go help the poor swamped kennel tech. While our section had two other people to finish cleaning. But instead were talking. So now I'm a shitty worker who doesn't understand teamwork. The heck.

At least the kennel tech told me specifically that she greatly appreciated my help.

Good grief. Don't think I'll be working here full time when it's offered. I will stick with my three days days a week, because any more and I'm likely to go insane.

Today is my other co-worker's last day.

Nobody is calling or e-mailing me to set up an interview.
Nobody.

sigh.

I work in what is supposed to be a 6 person department. Due to people quitting, retiring, and the supervisor's desire to save money by not opening a position - Aug 1, there will be 3 of us...

I had an interview this am but I didn't like it. Need a job with more money before I actually get pregnant...ugh.

There's a time and a place for "positive thinking!!!!" bullshit.
When somebody is in a legitimately difficult situation is really not the time.

You cannot "positive think!!" more money into your bank account.

You cannot "positive think!!" a broken car into no longer being broken.

You cannot "positive think!!" cancer away when somebody has cancer.

No.
I understand the sentiment.
I also understand this is the real world and it sucks and the sometimes the best ****ing thing you can say - and SHOULD say - is just "I'm sorry."

OMG! I 190% agree with you! This is such a petpeeve of mine. I'm really sorry you're in the situation you're in. It just sucks.
