Oh, and they have you walk to the ultrasound room in your sheet. It's down a hall /around two corners. So that's sexy.
Whaaaaaat?? What did they make you go to the ultrasound room for? They just put mine in in the exam room, pretty much just like a pap smear...

They did the actual procedure in the exam room, but then they check the placement with an ultrasound. Thus, walk of shame in my sexy sheet.

Finished reading Illusion: Chronicles of Nick, and find out that the Dark Hunter and Nick books are being made into movies.

That. Is. SO. Wrong.

I can't even. Who the hell would go and do that? WHY?!

I have this pounding headache. It's horrible.

All I want to do is sleep, but I still need to do things. I might just put them off, because this headache is that bad.

I boiled some water & washed up a bit that way. Cold showers are NOT fun. Or healthy, IMO.

We heard back from the apartment people today & it wasn't spectacular news. Even though we are prepared to pay 3-4 months ahead of time, they want us to make 3x monthly rent for income. Wtf.

Drank too much chocolate milk and now I'm bloated and feeling over-full.

My brain hurts, also. And, I'm still irked about a situation that happened with Rider at the dog park. People be stoopid.

Yeah, me too. But it's been this way for YEARS. At least 12 years, possibly longer. Then everyone scrambles to help get it turned back on in November (you have to pay 1/12th of your total bill plus connection fees to get it turned on, and they can't shut it off again until March 1st or whenever there isn't frost in the forecast for at least a week, whichever comes last), but by this point TWELVE YEARS of unpaid gas bills is adding up, and 1/12th of the total bill is A LOT. And of course I make **** for pay as it is, so I can't scrape together hundreds of dollars at the drop of a hat. And they make NO payments while it's on, so it just keeps adding up. One of these days it's simply going to be off for good, because we can't afford to get it turned on in the winter. It was already mid-December by the time we got it turned on last year, and I had to break ice in the dog bowls IN MY ROOM.

They also don't pay the water bill until it gets shut off, so every 2-3 months or so we go several days without water until we can again, without warning, scrape money together to get it turned on. My brother and I live at home and are MORE than willing to help with bills however we can. We continually ask how much they need because if we could pay little bits each payday, it'd be fine. But they just shrug it off week after week until SURPRISE! WE NEED $300 FOR THE WATER BILL TODAY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T WASH YOUR HANDS UNTIL YOU PAY! Sorry, I can't pull money out of my ass with no notice. It's a WATER BILL. It's NOT that much each month. Just let us know and we'd take care of it!

Reason #587464 I need a full time job so I can move out. And all the better if I'm out of town.

In the middle of summer, the cold water straight from the tap is about 65-70 degrees, sometimes even more. I can tolerate that on occasion, though I still prefer not to. But right now it's closer to 40 degrees from the tap. NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE. However, I do boil two very large pots of water, start filling the tub with cold water, and add the hot water to it to make it warm. It's not a full bath, but it's enough to sit in and wash. If I want to spoil myself I'll also add in the tea kettle and a smaller pot so all the burners are going, then boil a second set after the first and really fill it up (remember, I've had 12+ years of practice!) But it's still not a shower. Hence the gym membership (honestly, when I first joined, a hot shower was my primary motivation).

I wonder how much the cost of running the stove every time someone wants to take a bath or do dishes plus the added cost of buying Cold Water Tide for laundry and liquid soap instead of bars for hand washing compares to the cost of just ****ing paying the gas bill each month?

Oh, and my dad drives a BRAND NEW car (and pays the associated cost of insurance and registration each year). It's a year old, and he's had it a year. I don't even...
