Some of you already know that we've been planning to open up a grooming salon here in Aurora. Yesterday I took the first step to making that happen... I applied to several grans, including peaChic, whom I've already heard back from. I qualify for the grant, but its a long process selecting a winner, there is voting involved and a mess of other things, but I would really love to win this (or any of the other three I applied for) Some are for Women, some are for Veterans, some for Military spouses, and one for adopted children, I can't lie, I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing. I'm so excited though. I'm ready to be my own boss in a REAL salon, not just the dinky corner of my house I used in El Paso.

Also, if anyone is in Colorado and needs their dogs groomed, I'm offering free services in my home to get some more pictures of dogs I have groomed.
