Default Do you have a healthy relationship with food?

I'm watching something right now about all different types of disordered eating and it made me curious. Do you think you have a healthy relationship with food? Why or why not?

I think so. I eat food that I enjoy and that taste's good - I try to eat healthy, but I'm not above eating absolutely junk when I feel like it. LOL I'm not overweight and I do my very best not to eat when I'm bored.

I was raised on home grown, home processed, home cooked food made from scratch, so that is what I like. Mike calls me picky because I refuse to touch most canned vegetables/fruits - I like them fresh or canned myself. I just think most bulk processed foods taste funny. :/

I think so. I love (love!) food, and eat when I'm hungry. I try to listen to my body and eat what sounds good, which seems to work pretty well.

I've finally got to the place where most of the time I just consider it fuel and go with what's the best fuel rather than the most appealing.

Not at all. It's a battle that I will probably always struggle with. Eating disorders And body image issues seem to run in my family.

It's something that I want to change but am having a hard time doing. I don't have a kitchen and don't eat on a regular schedule which makes me binge on all the wrong things when I do get access to food.

I'd like to think so. I really like food and overall try to eat healthyish with a lot of home made food from scratch but I don't feel guilt or anger when I eat something not great for me but that's delicious.

I try to recognize when I'm full at the moment rather than ten minutes of eating later and try very hard not to eat out of boredom. I think I succeed overall with both

I don't obsess about it, I enjoy it and I try to utilize it to it's potential. I try to have fun with it, try different things and figure out ways to make things taste good but not binge.

I love food and tasting food, but food is also fuel and I've trained myself to eat when I'm not even hungry and when I'm bored, because if I didn't, I couldn't keep my weight up.

Meh. Maybe? I don't really care about eating. I like to eat when I'm hungry, but that might not happen until nighttime.

I do sometimes eat when I'm bored, but never a whole lot. I'm not overweight either.
