Default Cloth diapers! Anyone else use them or want to?

We use cloth now with Morga, Savannah and Bev at night. We are doing it for the money saving and cute aspect more then anything. I wish I had done it with Bev and Morgan from the start.

I know they are pretty popular now so just wondering how popular it is here

Bonus pictures of cute cloth diapers LOL

Yes Bev is in Dinosaurs and Morgan in a more feminine one they picked them out LOL.

Shrimp Scampi

LOL. We are out of diapers and I don't plan on anyone being back in them any time soon lol.

I hate laundry so cloth diapers probably wouldn't work for me lol

ehhh we do one load of them a night with Savannah and Morgan in them. I could go 2-3 days with Morgans but Savannah I had to buy her some after she was born because of how small she is and only have 9 LOL.

I had a diaper service when arielle was a baby. I liked the whole concept of it, but i just never could get the hang of it. Back then you had to use rubber pants over the cloth diapers or they'd leak. The rubber pants didn't look or feel comfortable. We had to use those big safety pins and i stuck myself a few times and was terrified I was going to stick her when she'd start squirming around. And the cloth diapers stayed wet.. unlike disposables that absorb the wetness. I felt like i was going though so many cloth diapers because I didn't want her sitting in a wet diaper. And the smell of them was enough to make me wanna puke...lol

I know it's better for the environment and there's a lot of people that love them. I was just not one of them.

Now you dont use actual pins and the covers are very thin and trim. Savannah is actually in a prefold and cover in all those pics (they are big on her because shes still 7 lbs and I didnt buy many for a SMALL baby ol) Morgan is in whats called a pocket it works just like a disposible but you slide a insert in it. You can even if you want to spend $$$ upfront get all in ones that are basically a cloth disposible. You do have o change hourly or so though if you have a big peer.

Diaper fastener we use

I want to do cloth diaps when I have a kid. One of my good friends uses fitteds and loves them! I marked "environmental reasons" but I also like the money saving and cute factors too.

I tried fitteds with Savannah and I LIKE the idea of the them but on her they just dont work right now. They are bulkier then a folded prefold and force her little legs into the air LOL. In fact I just traded a Goodmama fitted and 2 Grovia AIOs for a Ergo Galaxy grey LOL. Love that I can trade diapers I wont use for things I will.

I like the idea but I don't think I'd realistically want to deal with them. My cousin uses them though for her kids, and there is a serious cute factor.
