iPod Touch
Does anyone know if the 3rd generation iPod Touch can do the same thing as the newer 4th generation ones?
My nephew has the 2nd generation and a lot of the newer games (like ones on our iPhones) his can't get, and the games they like are the newer games. Either that or I have to try and find a Nintendo DS of some sort

I don't know the difference between the 3rd and 4th generation, but I have a 4th generation and really like it. It's especially helpful when traveling in Europe. There are some really great apps for that, like the Dutch public transportation app "9292ov", and the Dutch Train app "Trein".
I also have an Android device, the Kindle Fire, but it doesn't have those apps.

I believe 3rd gen doesn't have the front camera or iMessage.
Not sure what you can/cant do other than that, though
