I could EASILY rebuttal with Ryan's DNC speech which was full of lies as well... But, like I said, they all lie at one time or another. So saying you're not going to vote for such-and-such because "they lied" makes absolutely no sense at all.






Also, I will give it to Romney and Ryan... They know how to debate. But it's always the ignorant that have the biggest mouths and the intelligent who are full of doubts. I won't vote for someone based on speaking ability alone... They must have a moral character that agrees with mine. And Romney/Ryan do not have that character...not at all.

There is a nice old lady that lives in my building.. and she was talking to me about how she came to this country as an adult and has always been so excited to vote and be part of a country where voting takes place
She told me she is going to wear her special red, white and blue dress and head there early.. just made me smile and made me more excited to vote for the first time!

It IS pretty exciting! I am very glad you think so too Fran. I hope no matter what state things get into, what candidates you have to choose from, or how much work it is to figure out who's best for your vote through your whole life......remember this first time. The excitement. The importance. The responsibility. The privelege.

Trust me, it can be hard to keep in mind sometimes.

I do agree. They ALL lie.

But Biden was such a douche tonight, it just made me hate him. lol. Like I said, I went into both debates not really on a 'side' and very open, and not really liking either parties candidates. But Romney and Ryan showed a lot more professionalism and class IMO. And seemed to know a lot more about what they were talking about.

Both sides obviously lied or stretched the truth about some things. All politicians do. But overall, I just felt like Romney and Ryan were a lot more confident in what they were saying and more informed.

Ehhhh, I wouldn't quite say that about Romney. He repeatedly spoke over the moderator. But like I said, I do think the Republicans did well in the debates.

Only fails I saw from Ryan tonight where not telling the moderator to stop letting Bieden interrupting, and not putting abortion as a states rights issue. Other wise I thought he did done good.
