The boys go on a road trip!

Since Toller_08 was so quick to get her photos up, I figured I ought to get my act in gear and post mine. Nbc0 and I took a quick trip up to the Kelowna area for the weekend to cruise the roads, explore the lakes, hike the hikes and meet a chazzer (finally!). Lighting was brutal, so apologies for the overcompensating on the editing on some of these shots.

For good impressions, we groomed all the boys before heading off and hoped they'd stay clean until we got some pictures, but alas, at our very first pit stop they went on a muddy rampage - black sludge up to the elbows. When we got to Kelowna we let them out to dry off and restore some of their former pretty.

And then it was family portrait time with Nbc0, Zero and Holden!



Umm, Holden? Let's try that again.

Pit loves grass in all its stainy forms. Here he goes sliding down a hill.



Pit says the motel we stayed it is the SCARIEST PLACE EVER! The boys huddled for safety.



"Can't you hear them? The hallway monsters?"

And the next day we were off to meet a Dance!

Pit had a brief moment of swoon. Dance had a happy water.




Toller_08 brought out the ball after I said the boys won't take it. Zero proceeded to take the ball right away making a liar out of me.



Pit spent the majority of the time in the water waiting for someone to throw something and generally ignoring my voice. Well trained, that one!

Then on the way home we hit up a bunch of lakes and trails along the highway. Lots of little gems all over the place - all we needed to do was pull over at random intervals.

It was HOT. Pit seized the opportunity to swim as soon as he saw the first lake. He ran off ahead of everyone and swam away. Aaaand kept swimming. Spot the toller drifting off to the middle of the lake?





Zero found a floating pile of foamy slop and decided to eat it, getting it all over his face and then later making him want to barf in the car. Joy!



We found a lovely lake at the top of a hike somewhere along the way. It was gorgeous! A+, would visit again. Holden couldn't muster up the courage to jump off the log.

Those are great! I love the one of the tollers on either side of Zero. Dance looks so little next to him. And the one of Pit flirting with Dance briefly is very cute. And all of the ones from the rest of your trip are great too! You always find the prettiest places to stop. Thanks again for coming! It was a fun morning. I really enjoyed it!
