We do have those hospital vomit basins as well, lol. And I actually prefer them (more pee catching area) but we only had a set amount and we also send them home as pee catch kits for owners and sometimes they don't bring them back
Thus...ladle

My mom watched me collect his pee this morning (she went with me to hold him in the car so he wouldn't pee in my car) and I said "Don't worry. I'm very good at this. Unfortunately, I'm very good at this." "And Auggie doesn't even care?" "Nope... done it enough at this point that he doesn't care." Poor Augs.

If it includes a culture/sensitivity that's a pretty decent price. If this round doesn't work it might be worth sending off a culture. However, I had one sent off to Idexx on Gavroche before and although they saw bacteria, they didn't grow anything, so it was mostly useless :/

Ah, didn't realize it was the u/a price as well. Although that still seems high. (they're just poking a needle in there) It's a good price if the culture is included, though.
Goose,as a puppy, had endless vaginitis issues plus one bout of crystals. Our culture never showed anything in her case either. In her case she outgrew the issues, though, thankfully. For awhile there, though, we were very 'whyyyy did we get a girl puppy?!" lol

Aww poor Auggie! Mr. Peebody
I hope you can figure out whats going on with him... Just throwing this out there, my trainer whose BC had recurring utis completely resolved the issues by feeding raw. It might be worth trying?

Honestly I considered that, but I am in no way equipped (space wise or financially) to feed raw right now. =/ And pre-made raw is too expensive too. I looked into pre-made back when Payton was having poop problems and yikes. X_X

*flails hopelessly*
The lab couldn't grow ANYTHING from his culture and sensitivity. So Doc thinks the problem is lower than his bladder and has given me a referral to the university. sigh.

Not sure if you're already doing this, but have you tried a bellyband? It's not a cure, but it will atleast help protect your floor/stuff while you figure out what's going on.
Charlotte has bladder issues and has to wear a diaper inside. It sucks, but we love her.

Is Auggie neutered? This just sounds SO much like what's going on with Gavroche, and I'm 99.9% sure it's a direct result of being neutered. Gavroche has just come off his antibiotics about a week or two ago, and so far so good, but next time he starts leaking I'm going to consider testosterone injections. Proin did NOTHING for him. My theory is that lack of testosterone means a weak sphincter, which means not only can urine get our, but bacteria can get in, causing intermittent low-grade UTIs. The only difference is so far Gavroche has not had any stones, but that is possibly unrelated to Auggie's current issues anyway.
I really hope you get something figured out with poor Auggie. It's really frustrating, I know, I've been there :/
