Ewww. I'm creeped out by the thought of that thing being inside me, I definitely don't want to keep it in a jar. LOL that would be so disgusting! However, my mom and pastor discussed that yesterday on the phone

Also, me and one of the pastor's kids named it "Harry" haha. So now its name is "My Critter Harry"

The recovery time shouldn't be long at all. It is an outpatient surgery, so I'll be in and out of the hospital the same day. I'll just be so glad when I'm able to play sports again... I'm already so bummed that I won't be able to play kickball at church tomorrow night I've been looking forward to that for weeks now!

I agree with this name selection!

Good to hear it's an outpatient. I have to admit when I hear someone can't get themselves to eat this isn't the first thing that pops into my mind.

Vibes for a speedy, full, and comfortable procedure and recovery.

Yeah, I wouldn't be interested in keeping it in a jar or otherwise after it was extracted...

AND it *COULD* have eyes, too! I think you should keep it and name it (I do like Harry!), and maybe even take it for walks!

Good luck with the surgery, although I'm sure it will be easy and uneventful! That's really good that they figured out what was causing your abdominal pain.

O_O

I'm glad they found the cause, and I pray the surgery is uneventful and you recover well.

And I vote "NO!" to keeping......it.

I'm not even going to google it, I don't want to know! Glad they figured it out and it should be an easy fix though!

WTF.

How do you get these? Do they just randomly pop up? I need to get a full body scan now... I've never heard of them, but googling them was horrifying! At least it's not on your face!

Good luck with the surgery. I'm sure you'll feel much better afterwards. I wouldn't ever want to see it if I was you!

Youre born with them, you don't know until they get big enough to cause a problem, they're real slow growing
