Do you take the tags off as soon as you buy clothing?

But then I do normally grab the size furthest in the back, figured it's least tried on and that's where my size is anyways! LOL

I take the tags off but put them in a drawer until I've washed and worn once and know it's okay. I have taken stuff back after a first washing because the dye ran or a seam raveled loose or it just didn't hold up like it should have when washed according to the label directions. What's really surprising is that, although it doesn't happen very often, it's happened at least as often with clothing that was considered higher end as with everyday stuff.
