To Anyone Joining to Spam for Votes:
We love supporting each other whenever we can, however, if your earliest posts are simply to gain votes for a contest, be aware that you will be added to the internet blacklists as a spammer.
While that doesn't sound too bad, it can make life on the internet . . . frustrating. We're also pretty contrary when it comes to responding for strangers' requests for popularity votes . . . we tend to vote for someone else. Legitimate rescues are, of course, exempt from this. We love to help out rescue
