Woman Glued to Walmart Toilet Seat

MONTICELLO, KENTUCKY -

A woman visiting a Kentucky Walmart found herself in a sticky situation.

Monticello city officials said the woman went to use the store's bathroom when she realized she was stuck to the toilet seat. It was later determined the seat was covered in Super Glue.

The woman was stuck inside the restroom for nearly an hour. Now, police are investigating the incident.

"We're looking at it. Right now, I wouldn't be prepared to say which way it was -- accident or intention," said Monticello Police Deptment Chief Ralph Miniard.

Paramedics were on hand to help pull the woman off the seat. She was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out.

This isn't the first time someone was glued to a toilet seat at Walmart.

What appeared to be an April Fools' prank caused a man to be glued to a toilet at a Maryland Walmart on March 31.

Putting Super Glue on a toilet is considered a crime, and the perpetrator could face second-degree assault charges, said Lt. Matthew Donnelly of the Elkton Police Department.

BARNSTABLE, Mass. -- A Barnstable man has been charged with assault for allegedly hitting his girlfriend in the face with a pair of designer jeans he had doused in wasabi sauce.

John McGuinness was arraigned in Barnstable District Court last week on charges including domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for allegedly attacking his girlfriend because she had received a text message from another man as they drove home from a bar.

Police tell the Cape Cod Times the 22-year-old McGuinness doused the woman's $200 jeans in the pungent Japanese sauce and threw them outside.

When she went to his home to recover the jeans, he allegedly struck her in the face with them, getting sauce in her eyes, then poured more sauce in her car.

How does one go about "accidentally" covering a toilet seat in super glue? I don't know about other people but the last thing on my mind when going to the bathroom would be "oh there's the super glue, better bring that in with me!"

Why is the girl being assaulted by her boyfriend remotely funny? Destroying her belongings and assaulting her because a guy texted her? He sounds controlling, abusive, violent, and unstable. He SHOULD be in jail.

For the record, wasabi in the eye hurts more than pepper spray.

I don't think anyone is saying he is anything other than all those things. It's odd kind of funny not nessecarily haha funny more like a "WTF?" sort of thing. I mean... he took her pants (although how they ended up not being ON her is weird) and poured wasabi on them and then started swinging them around and slapped her with them... yes he's a took, a jerk, unstable, violent, abusive... but he's also incredibly odd.

Doesn't superglue dry fast? Like someone couldn't leave it on the seat long term before someone got there?

It's not really funny, per say, but it's just really bizarre. I mean, who takes $200 designer jeans and covers them with wasabi? That would take a LOT of wasabi to cover up jeans.

It's just so random. It reminds me of Mad Libs... pick an item (jeans), a food sauce (wasabi), and an action (throwing). That's the only way I can logically imagine coming up with that plan!

Yeah it's pretty quick once you press something onto it but it does take a little bit if you are just dumping on a flat surface and waiting for it to dry.

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one puzzled about how someone being superglued to a public toilet could be an accident-lol!
