The name that Beandoggle thread.
I named Bean after astronaut Alan Bean who was the fourth person to walk on the moon. I also like the reference to Bean in Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game books.
I had been intending to name him Orion Caught A Ride With The Moon (lyrics from "Tear in Your Hand" by Tori Amos) then it occurred to me that Orion Take To The Sky (again, Tori Amos) would be rather nice as well, and less to write on entry forms. (Steve's registered name is Orion Never Seen Blue, again with the Tori Amos) From an Ender's Game standpoint, Orion The Enemy's Gate Is Down isn't bad. I like the literary nerdiness of it. I've also been looking at space terms Orion Go For Launch Orion Escape Velocity Someone suggested Orion Shoot The Moon which is a nice nod to the gambling theme of this litter For inspiration:

I like Orion Take To The Sky and Orion Go for Launch the best! I really like Orion Caught A Ride With The Moon, too, but it is a bit long (just depends on if that matters to you, really).
