How's 2012 been for everyone so far?

Its been. Great, Horrible, and life changing. Ready for it to level out some.

I have continued with my weight loss/lifestyle change this year and I also have what feels like some renewed clarity about current direction of studies. Which is nice.

I feel that I have grown into myself a little bit this year, more self-esteem and confidence. I thought I was pretty positive before, but I just feel different now.

Thinking of those who are having a s#$tty time in 2012. xxx

I wouldn't say AWESOME but definitely better than last year.

Last year I found out I had an undiagnosed food allergy when my tongue swelled up at a family gathering.

This year no epi pens so better in that department.

Also realized around Christmas of last year that I was in a toxic relationship with an emotionally abusive guy. Ditched him and realized how much I missed just being single and having hobbies and free time.

It's been great. Studied abroad for six months, travelled Europe, met some amazing new friends. Can't complain!

Incredibly stressful. Found out I was pregnant. Found out my boyfriend cheated on me with hookers. Had to move back i nwith my alcoholic mother as I have no money and no where else to go. There are four people and dfive animals jammed into a very small two bedroom basement suite. It's not fun.

2012 has been good so far. Lots changed in 2011 and right now I'm just trying to find my own groove and my own life. Job is going really well and I've been able to get involved in some things I missed. Starting to get to know people in my new/old town and making friends, which is good. Just a lot of transition and learning what it's like to be a 'real adult' and out of school. So far I am enjoying it. The past half year or so is the first time in a while I've felt like me again.

Meh. Started a new job at the beginning of the year and I've been overworked ever since. There are so many things I'd like to sign up for, get involved in.... but can't because work is always in the way. So 2012 would be AWESOME if I could get the job that I want so I can have a normal person schedule and be able to have free time to do things.

But I mean, other than that, it's been okay.

Well, let's see.

We moved into an apartment (yay!) which has been awesome, though seriously stress-inducing at times with Frodo.

Moved to a different location at work, which is a negative, I still miss my old coworkers

Got rats! 5 of them!

Found out that my new location for work is actually, for realz, happening!

Money is way better than it was last yeah, huge relief.

And Frodo gets to see Dr. D the veterinary behaviorist in like 3 weeks!

So overall, plus!!

This year has been good so far. I'm looking forward to the rest of the summer.

Mine is sucking, my hours at work have been drastically cut and Monday my husband got laid off after being with the same company for over 20 years. My brother got laid off last week and 3 different friends got laid off last month. Not many decent jobs around here so just hope we get lucky.
