Occasionally. Mac and Quinn are totally seperate now but I do think this could be worked through - my sister is so paranoid she won't give it a chance though.

The other three have all had various scuffles, usually caused by Quinn guarding food or hasn't been excercised enough and is too on edge and starts something. Jam enough food and excercise into her and the whole household is pretty harmonious.

Yes. Never very serious and *touch wood* I've always been able to break it up myself. The main fights are between Tika and Scamp and Fudge and Scamp. Scamp occassionally attacks Taz and Diesel but they never respond. See the pattern?

Fudge goes after Ozzy and Diesel quite a bit but he's kept seperated from Ozzy most of the time and Diesels a little snot who won't leave him alone. About once a year Fudge and Taz get into it and that's the most serious fight we have at the moment.

I'm predicting that Tika will try to murder Aura losses her puppy license so their interactions are closely monitored.

Tito and Skye never fought. She was an old lady when he came in as a rambunctious pup though and she used to clip him round the ear when he got too rowdy. When he got older they used to playfight and he'd let her beat him up. They both had a ball and now he misses her as much as I do.

I'll have to find some video of the two of them doing it. Non-doggy people would think there was murder afoot. lol

Luce and Mushroom have gotten into it a few times in the past, but it's been years.

I do have some tension between Mushroom and Steve, but it's never flared into anything more than occasionally stink eye and growls. Hopefully Bean won't cause social upheaval as he grows.

I once had a near fight (over a piece of lemon dropped on the floor of all things!!) Abby got there first, Grace wandered over to investigate and Abby decided that she wanted the lemon. Lip curled and snarked (no contact as far as I could tell) and then Grace just burred up and roared (also no contact). It was over before I could even think about what to do.

Grace is quite an easy going dog and tolerates the occasional snark from Abby, mostly whilst playing if things get a little rough. Abby can also be a resource guarder and we take steps to avoid this as much as possible. On this particular day, Grace decided that she wasn't putting up with Abby's reaction on this occasion.

No contact fights as yet. I do remember my childhood dogs having one snark over a piece of toast. At the time I thought they were going to kill each other (the noise!!), but truth be told, I don't think they even made contact. It was just all noise and spit and my mum managed to get them apart by clapping her hands. So... umm... not a big fight at all. That's the extent of my experiences with dog fights.

Nope, never had a fight amongst any of my dogs. I'm really lucky.

We haven't had a fight since early March. *knock on wood* And that was caused by sheer stupidity on my part. My girls used to fight over who gave who the stink eye. We are finally (after 7 months of behavior work) at the point where they are out together 90% of the time with no problems. We can even have people ring the doorbell or knock on the door without a problem and that used to be a major trigger. (And ftr Murphy doesn't fight - he breaks up fights like a boss though.)

The thought of a permanent future dog coming in and fscking things up scares me. >.<

No, thank heavens. I got lucky - Meg certainly has some dog issues, but I did my best to get a second dog that fit into her scheme of "what is okay", and it worked. She will occasionally snark at him if she is cuddling me or chewing on a toy and he decides he needs to take part. There's never been any contact, and Gusto thinks it is funny. He's one of those great dogs who just doesn't give other dogs anything to bounce aggression off of.

We haven't had a serious fight between the two in quite a while. Typically it was caused by Ivan in some way. Ivan and Peewee will occasionally snark at each other. Usually because Ivan is bugging the snot out of Peewee and he doesn't know when to stop. I will let Peewee snarl and growl at Ivan, and then I step in and make Ivan back off. At Peewees age its not fair to expect him to put up with obnoxious Ivan. I let Peewee initiate the I've had enough and then step in.
