It just breaks my freaking heart. He is being so incredibly good.
I can't get him in to see the rehab vet that I want to see until July 11th. Which is frustrating, but not unexpected. It took a long time the last time around also. And of course I can't find the paperwork of what we did, though I have all the blog posts I wrote about it. I remember crate rest, five minute walks, heating and passive range of motion, and then icing. That much, at least, we can do while we're waiting for his appointment. Pretty benign stuff. It kills me to have this puppy bounding around the house and my sweet Steve unable to play. I left work this evening and the weather is absolutely FANTASTIC and it would be a primo ball-throwing evening, but no. Not for my boy. I pawned the puppy off on my parents for a couple hours, so Steve and I are going to go for our five minute walk and then I'm going to torture him with his rehab stuff, but at least he won't have a puppy biting his tail while we're doing it.
