For pokey things I usually give bread and watch for any signs of illness..so far so good.

If it helps, we recently contacted the specialty referral center for a dog who had eaten a cooked rib bone. It was in the stomach. They said that they rarely if ever remove bones from the stomach because, as long as it stays in the stomach, they digest over time. It's when they pass into the intestines that they can cause issue. We re-xrayed several days later and it was, indeed, nearly digested.

Eve ate a whole cooked chicken carcass once with no issues. I agree with bread and keeping an eye on her.

Mine have gotten a couple chicken bones in their time. Just keep a close eye and do not hesitate to seek care if something seems wrong.

Thanks guys. Glad that most of you have experienced similar things and nothing bad happened. That's reassuring!

She's been such a brat this month and doing different things totally out of the ordinary. I don't know what's up. Nothing's changed in her life... guess she just feels like trying new things suddenly.

So far she seems perfectly normal but I'll continue to keep an eye on her for the next few days and hope nothing goes wrong. She thinks she had the best night ever. Ate a chicken bone, got lots of yummy bread, life is great!

I've never had a dog eat a cooked bone, but I've always heard to give lots of bread and watch them as well.

I'm sure Keira will be fine! Lots and lots of vibes that the bone passes through without any issues!
