I can't imagine the level of suck there must be living in an area that turns people chillin with their dog in their own yard into criminals.

Their dog is dead, they've paid a price. I can't imagine hounding them after the fact, I can't be that cold in this scenario. I'm really surprised they went as far as suspending the officer.
