She doesn't have regular access to the internet right? Hopefully that is the only reason for the delay and we will hear some good news soon!

Yup.
Sorry to keep y'all waiting. I love you guys. And Jess, I was really looking forward to those bugs.

As for news, not much to tell. He has "enlarged lymph nodes" and he's lost 2 pounds.

Results of blood work will be in tomorrow.

Will update as soon as I can when I hear from the vet.

So the vet calls me and tells me the blood work is normal except for the T4 is low. Two years ago, the T4 was near the low end of normal, now it's below normal, but since the dog doesn't have clinical symptoms of hypothyroidism, he has no idea why it's low but isn't worried about it at this time.

I stopped by the vet's office and asked for a copy of the blood work...

Platelets are a little high.
Neutrophils are a little low.

Now, granted they're not very far out of the normal range, but considering he has enlarged lymph nodes and has lost 10% of his body weight, I don't see how that's considered "normal" blood work.

Ugh. I was hoping that you'd actually have an answer. What is the next step?

I'm going to call my mom tonight. She's a human doctor but maybe she'll have insight. After that, I don't know yet. I'm open to all suggestions.
