options on Nature's Recipe dog food
is this a good brand? i found it while search another site. i can get it locally and they have a breed specific formula.

I looked at their website and read the ingredients. I did not see the two things I look for first in a quality food: organic and human grade ingredients. I did see something in the ingredients that automatically takes it off my list of acceptable foods: animal digest. Animal digest is the stomach and intestinal contents of slaughtered animals. It doesn't specify WHAT kind of animals the digest comes from, either.

ok. what about this kind of dog food.
http://www.petco.com/product_info.as...t3=Royal+Canin i read through the ingreients, but i dont really know what i'm looking for.
