It's very uniform and has always been there. It's not a greying type of gene (like Beau has). It's always stumped me.

It's not always noticeable in all lighting though. and as she's grown older and getting grey on her face, it's showing up less and less.







All on her cheek is actually really pale red, not white.

I've always noticed the cream on her cheeks in pictures, and thought I was seeing things

It's less noticeable now since her whole face is going white (she cannot get old!)

I would say certainly looks like spitzy pattern but happily with color it doesn't matter for anything in papillons. As long as the leather is black and the ears to eyes are colored life is golden and equal among all colors.

Yes, I do see urajiro but I'm not an expert. I've always thought Summer had very unique coloration, as I haven't seen those light cream points very much in Papillons.

Jinjo's a cream mask Corgi, the best way to tell is by the puppy face color, Vs adult, this is puppy Jin:

I don't know as much about Paps, but from what I know about coat color I would say she's cream masked.

What you call cream masked is urijiro. It's found in a wide variety of breeds, and gets called different things in different breeds.
