Default Dad kills man who was sexually assaulting his daughter

I'm so proud of this father for doing whatever it took to protect and defend his daughter. I pray that no charges will be brought against him when all is said and done.

Today in the news: Dad kills man who was sexually assaulting daughter

A man who was caught sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl was killed by the girl’s father, Texas police said. The girl and her father were at the abuser’s house for a social gathering, and at one point, the girl was inside the house with the man and he began sexually assaulting her. The father happened to enter the house and saw the assault, and he repeatedly punched the attacker in the head, killing him. Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon said they aren’t charging the father, as it was “defense of his third person,” but a grand jury could decide to bring charges.
The Hokey Pokey. That's what it's all about.

Good for him! The better NOT bring charges. It was defense and that SOB deserved what he got. I hope the little girl is okay.

Give him the key to the city, name a park after him, build a statue, have a hero's parade, take up a collection and let him get to work on his bucket list.

Last I read, no charges were being filed but I think there's still an ongoing investigation.

He deserves to be honored as a hero, definitely did the right thing. They should approach him to be in local law enforcement...they need more people like that.

From what i read he reacted coming upon the scene , he did not deliberatly go vigilanty ala "A Time To Kill" . he did not mean to kill the guy. (although it is the best outcome IMO)

Now even if he DID go Vigilanty then he I still think it is ok.

... justifiable homicide IMO and I suspect it'll be found to be just that. I can only hope his daughter can get by what happened.

Hopefully, even if the rapist did have influential friends, no one will want to admit to it and give this guy a bad time.
