For those of us with green paws, that's green thumbs for critter people heeheehee...I have an English ivy plant-it's a brand called Angel and they distribute house plants...Home Depot and Lowes carry all different kinds of the brand.
This ivy plant is amazing. It started out itty bitty about two years ago and started growing out of it's pot in a month. I replanted it and snipped some ends and stuck them in another pot. Both pots are green and happy and trailing down the front porch. Today I bought another pot for a friend and planted clippings from the Momma plant to make a whole new plant. If you keep them watered and bring them inside in the winter it's an amazingly hearty plant.

I love house plants. I only have three right now but I really want more. I have a golden pothos (named Robert Plant) that grows so fast it's hard to keep up with. I've snipped some ends off of it and it's started 3 different plants of it's own for my family.
I almost bought a english ivy plant the other day, actually. But it was in poor condition so I decided against it.

I have a small mint plant right now that I just got the other day. Really excited to get it growing more so I can make some essential oil and lotions from it.

May I suggest lavender and rosemary too-if you like the smells of course. I dry the snippings of them together and leave them in bowls...nothing like the smell of lavender!

I have a 8 year old quite small (kinda bonsai) ficus tree, some little ferns, a little buddhist pine and some other little things, a hibiscus and an areca palm.
One of the "other little things" is kind purplish and segmented and grows like crazy, I have to prune it back and each time I stick the clippings in the pot, about half survive. It'll be cool when there's a little forest of it ![]() I also have some mimosa trees, artichokes and passion flowers growing in a heated container thingy. There are some chocolate vines as well but they haven't sprouted yet. They are notoriously difficult to germinate though. |

I have all sorts of plant around the apartment, but some of them are looking forward to being planted out side next weekend.
The plants that would like to be replanted in the real gound -3 tomato plants -2 lilac bushes -1 ever green tree (he was our mini christmas tree) -1 million bagillion lavender starts -1 million bagillion lemon balm starts Potted plants -Ben's Love fern -Banana tree -Orange tree -Lemon tree -Bay tree -various cactus Then, I have a viney house plant thing that the internet tells me is a Pothos. I got him in college in 09 and now he hangs off of the 2nd story loft and hits Ben in the head. I'm working on getting some starts off of him to grow up the wine tree.
