What's your favorite leather color?

What is your favorite leather color on Jackson out of these ones we have???

I can't decide. I am thinking our new tan collar is probably my favorite on him. What do you think? I think because he is that tan color on his head, it looks REALLY good on him.

Also, what is your favorite leather on your own dog?

Tan on him, definitely.

I love love love black on Gavroche, but he's white so really anything looks good on him.

Still not sure about Logan - he has a burgundy-ish harness but the rest of the stuff is black. I like red on him, but I don't like red leather in general. One of these days i n eed to try blue on him.

Definitely tan. I like the black too, but the tan looks really nice.

As for my dogs, I prefer leather collars that match their coats. So Ripley wears brown, Keira black and Dance tan. I do like (dark) tan and cognac on Ripley as well though almost as much. It brings out his tan points and goldy eyes and at the same time looks great against his coat.

I do not like brown on Keira at all (makes her look less girly somehow), and she can pull off tan but I think it stands out too much on her. I hate black on Ripley. It just doesn't work. And I don't really like black on Dance either. Brown is ok on her until it gets too dark.

The tan is my favorite on Jackson.

Rocky looks just like Jackson and he wears black, but if I were to buy a new collar I would definitely go tan. Baxter has red which is pretty striking against his white fur.

I think Tucker would look great in the tan too!

Btw, I loooveee how soft this tan is from Paco. I got it during the sale - they modified the St. Francis for me in more of a "the George" style, haha. I had the black before and it was pretty stiff for a while, but this came really soft. I'm LOVING it.

Do you use any kind of leather conditioner, btw? I have yet to use any, and am wondering if I should... or wait until it NEEDS it, or...?

I'm glad every one agrees. I'm so glad I decided to go with tan - I was honestly unsure at first. Once I put it on him I was in LOVE. I definitely think it's his best color. I placed an order last night for the beige Puppia to match I am so ridiculous!

For my girls I like just basic black leather. Lily gets silver hardware and Scout gets brass.

I like a deep chocolate brown or black on Eve.

I love the tan, but the black is very nice too!

Quinn has a cognac brown collar and a pumpkin/tan collar. Both look nice but I prefer pumpkin on her - it matches her coat and eyes very nicely and makes any decorations on the collar really pop.
